One throughline,
many crafts.
Engineer, film enthusiast, competitor, and host. The common thread is building things people actually use.

I’m Josiah, an Apple platform engineer at Disney+ who also makes films, runs short-term rentals, competes on stage and on the trail, and builds the occasional party game.
That sounds like a lot of unrelated things. To me it’s one habit: I find something I care about, learn how it really works, and then build or do the version I wish existed. That instinct started with code: shipping apps to the App Store before it was a job, and it never stayed in one lane.
It’s why I build SeeItEarly to get film fans to screenings early, why I run rentals guests rate five stars, and why I’ll spend months animating a short film just to say something the right way. The tools change; the approach doesn’t.
If any of that overlaps with what you’re working on, whether hiring, film, hosting, or something I haven’t tried yet, I’d love to hear about it.
